About MyRentHelper
MyRentHelper exists to give renters and landlords fast, plain-language answers to the questions that actually matter, without requiring a law degree to understand the answer.
What We Do
We research state landlord-tenant statutes and present the key numbers (notice periods, deposit limits, fee caps, eviction timelines) in a simple, searchable format. Every data point is verified against the primary state statute, not copied from other websites.
Who We Serve
Both renters and landlords. We do not take sides. The law applies equally to everyone, and our tools reflect that neutrality.
Accuracy
Our data is reviewed against primary statute text twice yearly (January and July). If you believe any information is incorrect, please let us know at hello@myrenthelper.com.
What We Are Not
We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice. Our tools present legal information. For advice about your specific situation, please consult a licensed attorney in your state.
